Easy Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream

 

1 can (14-oz.) EAGLE (R) Brand-Sweetened Condensed Milk-(not evaporated milk)

2/3 c Chocolate-flavored syrup

2 c (1 pint) Whipping cream,-whipped

 

Method

 

1. In large bowl, stir together sweetened condensed milk and syrup. 

2. Fold in whipped cream. 

3. Pour into aluminum foil-lined 9x5-inch loaf pan; cover. 

4. Freeze 6 hours or until firm. 

5. Scoop ice cream from pan or remove from pan, peel off foil and slice. 

6. Return leftovers to freezer. 

7. Makes about 1-1/2 quarts.

 

Coconut Almond: 

1. Omit chocolate syrup. 

2. In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, 2 tablespoons water, 2 egg yolks and 4 teaspoons vanilla extract. 

3. Fold in whipped cream with 1/2 cup toasted flaked coconut and 1/2 cup 

toasted slivered almonds.

 

Coffee: 

1. Omit chocolate syrup. 

2. In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, 1 tablespoon instant coffee dissolved in 2 Tablespoons water, 2 beaten egg yolks and 4 teaspoons vanilla extract. 

3. Fold in whipped cream.

 

French Vanilla: 

1. Omit chocolate syrup. 

2. In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, 2 tablespoons water, 2 beaten egg yolks and 4 teaspoons vanilla extract. 

3. Fold in whipped cream.

 

Lemon: 

1. Omit chocolate syrup. 

2. In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, 2 tablespoons REALEMON (R) Reconstituted Lemon Juice, 1 tablespoon grated lemon rind and few drops 

yellow food coloring. 

3. Fold in whipping cream.

 

Mint Chocolate Chip: 

1. Omit chocolate syrup. 

2. In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, 2 teaspoons peppermint extract, 3 to 4 drops green food coloring and 2 tablespoons water. 

3. Fold in whipped cream and 1/2 cup small dark chocolate-flavored baking chips.

 

Mocha: 

1. Dissolve 1 tablespoon instant coffee in 1 teaspoon hot water; combine with sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup. 

2. Fold in whipped cream.

 

Raspberry: 

1. Omit chocolate syrup. 

2. Thaw 1 (10-ounce) package frozen raspberries in syrup. 

3. With blender, blend until smooth. 

4. In large bowl, combine raspberries and sweetened condensed milk. 

5. Fold in whipped cream.

 

Strawberry: 

1. Omit chocolate syrup. 

2. Thaw 1 (10-ounce) package frozen strawberries in syrup. 

3. With blender, blend strawberries until smooth.

4. In large bowl, combine strawberries and sweetened condensed milk.

5. Fold in whipped cream.

 

Peanut Butter: 

1. Omit chocolate syrup. 

2. In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, 2 tablespoons water, 2 beaten egg yolks and 1/2 cup peanut butter. 

3. Fold in whipped cream.

 

Peppermint Candy: 

1. Omit chocolate syrup. 

2. In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, and 4 teaspoons vanilla extract. 

3. Fold in whipped cream and 1/4 cup crushed hard peppermint candy.

 

Peach: 

1. Omit chocolate syrup. 

2. Drain 1 (16-ounce) can peaches. 

3. With blender, blend until smooth. 

4. In large bowl, combine peaches, sweetened condensed milk, 3 beaten egg yolks and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract.

5. Fold in whipped cream.

 

Butter Pecan: 

1. Omit chocolate syrup. 

2. In small saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons butter; stir in 1/4 cup chopped pecans. 

3. In large bowl, combined sweetened condensed milk, 2 beaten egg yolks, 1 teaspoon maple flavoring and buttered pecans. 

4. Fold in whipped cream.
