A dollop of whipped cream or ice cream, on top of or beside a square
of cake works well. Also, those pourable icings that are more like
glazes than frostings, especially if the cake is baked in a 13"x9"
pan work very well.
M&Ms, and other multi-colored candies are nice additions too!
