CWL ECONOMY MEAT LOAF 

 

Temperature, 350 degrees.

Time, one hour.  

Yield, 6 to 8 servings.

 

One pound hamburger meat

½ cp minced onion 

2tsps salt

1/2tsp pepper 

1tsp dry mustard

½ cp catsup

One egg, beaten

1 cp water

1 cp uncooked oats

 

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly with hands.  Pack into a greased loaf pan.  Bake.  Remove from oven and cool slightly.  

 

To pour off the fat that has accumulated during cooking time, tip one corner of the pan over a large bowl, holding one hand lightly over the meat loaf.  Unmold meat loaf on to a platter.  Slice and serve.  Enjoy.
