Crab Rangoon's




1 can crabmeat


1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese


1 1/2 teaspoon chives


Premade wonton wrappers (that you can get at almost any grocery store)


Canola or vegetable oil for frying




Mix crab meat, room temperature cream cheese, and chives together in a small
bowl until smooth. Place a wonton wrapper on counter, wet edges with water,
place 1 teaspoon (or more) of crab mixture just off center of one of the
four points. Fold wrapper over making sure that all the air bubbles are
pushed out as you seal it. Make it is firmly sealed to keep it from bubbling
or popping. Heat oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or judge with extra wonton
wrapper cut into 4, and see if bubbles form rapidly around the edges. Place
Rangoon in the oil turning over once. Assume 3 minutes to a side, or until
golden brown.
