Beef In Onion Gravy

1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup

1 tablespoon dry onion soup mix

2 tablespoons beef bouillon granules

1 tablespoon quick-cooking tapioca

1 pound beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes

Spray the interior of a 3 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In the slow
cooker, combine soup, soup mix, bouillon and tapioca. Let stand for 15
minutes. Stir in beef. Cover; cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or until meat is
tender but not dry. Serve over cooked noodles or mashed potatoes.

Variation:

Add 2 to 3 tablespoons chopped onions, 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms and/or
1/2 teaspoon pepper to soup mixture before adding to slow cooker.
