Ham Hocks And Kraut

6 meaty smoked ham hocks

1 (15 ounce) can sauerkraut

1 large onion, chopped

2 bay leaves


Place ham hocks, sauerkraut, onion and bay leaves in 6 quart slow cooker.
Fill with enough water to cover ham hocks. Cover; cook on low for 6 to 8
hours, or until meat is tender. Remove hocks and allow to cool enough to
de-bone by hand. Stir ham chunks back into sauerkraut. Remove bay leaves.
