Herbed Spinach Bake

2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen chopped spinach

2 cups cooked rice

2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

4 eggs, beaten

2/3 cup milk

1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened

1/4 cup chopped onion

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Cook spinach according to package directions; drain well, squeezing out
excess liquid. Place in a large bowl; add remaining ingredients. Transfer to
a greased 13 by 9 by 2 inch baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for
20 minutes. Uncover and bake for 5 minutes longer, or until set.

Note:

When using cooked spinach in a recipe, remove as much liquid as possible by
pressing or squeezing it dry with your hands. This will prevent the dish
from becoming watery.
