The Midwest conference will be streamd on ACB Radio World this weekend.

Please note the following times for the various events are in central time:

7:00 pm Ice Breaker – Grand Ball Room

Michael Byington - “Who is Your Assistive Technology Device?” Michael 
has a degree in drama therapy. Topic involves getting the group
members to discuss and/or role plays their assistive devices, i.e., 
white canes, biopic lenses, other magnifiers, and occasionally guide 
dogs, as though
they, devices, are people with human qualities.

1:30 pm The ABC’s of Conducting an Effective Business Meeting – Brenda 
and Dan Dillon, Hermitage, Tennessee

2:15 pm Writing an Effective Press Release – Ronald Milliman, Professor 
of Marketing, Western Kentucky University

3:15 pm Break and Door Prizes

3:30 pm Mentoring Membership Retention – Brenda Dillon, ACB Second Vice 
President

4:15 pm Project Assignments - Participants will be Divided into groups 
given "how to" assignments on topics presented. The group will elect a 
spokesperson
to discuss step-by-step details on completing the assigned task Sunday 
morning.
