I would like to know if there is already a tutorial for windows 8 from the
stand point of the blind user. I don't have access to bookshare since I live
outside of the US.

Subject: Re: [Mm-friends] The NLS Bard Site is Up and Working
I last checked thiks morning and the site was down I heard that people were
having trouble downloading books. I myself had this problem last night and
when I was asked for the file name, it gave me a name of NLS. I checked
again this morning and it said that bard was down for mateionites. Sorry
for distroing that word. LOL! Just passing on my findings.

to know your Bard password to log in. When you log in, you won't need to use
Web Braille any more, because Web braille is now a part of Bard. I just
grabbed a web braille book; it was downloaded as a zip file, just like
talking books are; when you unzip it, you get all the volumes. There are
lots of new features to explore. Just thought I'd let you know in case you
haven't heard it's back up.
