[Mm-friends] [Friends] ACB Radio Tuner 8 is availablefordownload

Unfortunantly, I haven't tried it on the Apple, but I have streamed it in iTunes on a Windows machine several times before with no problem so long as iTunes was the default audio player. So, my guess is that since iTunes is the default audio player for Mac it should just come up and start playing like it does in Windows.

I think if you click on the stream, it will put the pls or M3U file in the download folder which you will have to click on to start the stream. In ITunes, if you look in playlist you probably will find an entry for ACB radio once you have played the stream. click on it and the stream should play until the URL to the stream changes or you delete it from the playlists.

Yes, this should work. I believe you would have to click on the Winamp stream from the Mac to get it to play in iTunes.

      Larry,

Macs all come with iTunes and that should be all that they need to play from acbradio I would think.

        Hi all,

We have the new and improved version of the ACB Radio Tuner available for download!

This version fixes the broken stream references that occurred when we moved to another server.

This version also lists the new World News and Information stream.

We have removed the modem streams because we don’t get any listeners there and they are harder to support.

In order to get the tuner go to http://acbradio.org/node/10

Scroll down the page by heading and you will find the ACB Radio Tuner under its own heading.

Also we have winamp and foobar2000 available for download if you need an alternative to windows media player on your windows machine.

We don’t have any mac players at this time but will research that for the future.

        Happy listening

        Larry Turnbull

        ACB Radio Managing Director
