[Mm-friends] kindle fire had question

If you purchased an app for the Kindle, why not have it delivered wirelessly using your computer. it is much easier I think for a blind person instead of fumbling and trying to find the download button!

Hey there.

I didn’t know there was a keyboard case for it. Neat.

I find there are some things that are confusing, but for the most part, I’m doing OK with it. The gestures needed for left, right, up, and down seem to require a good amount of movement in said directions. Coming from iOS, where a flick in any direction, even when quite small, works perfectly, this device threw me for a loop, at first.

  Hi Chad.

I haven’t downloaded any paid apps, but I imagine it is similar to obtaining free apps. The download/install button is more midway down from the top of the screen on the right-hand side. I usually see a “get” button when looking at free apps. After double-tapping on that, it shows me a list of the things to which the app about to be downloaded needs access. To accept, double-tap the download button which is at a similar location as that previous “get” button. The app will download and be added to your home screen.

  I hope this helps.

  Best regards,

  -Jason
